Pencil2D is an excellent traditional drawing tool that makes creating simple animations incredibly easy. In this way, no matter the demands of your work, you'll always be able to do what you need without running into any problems. On the other hand, if you prefer, you can also export any project as a video file in AVI, MP4, APNG, or WebM format. On the one hand, you can export any project as a sequence of images in PNG, BMP, JPG, or TIFF. One of the strengths of Pencil2D is that, although you can save all your projects in the program's native format, you can also easily export them in several different ways. At the bottom of the screen, you'll find the classic timeline, from which you can easily manage the duration and position of each moment of the animation.
To do so, the program lets you work with a complex layers system through which you can manage all the drawings you create or import to your canvas. The goal of Pencil2D is to help you create cartoon animations using traditional drawing methods, such as the popular onion skinning technique. This led to the creation of several different forks, one of which was Pencil2D, which became the new standard. The original version of the program, called Pencil, was abandoned and discontinued in 2009 by its original creators. It's free, open source, and released under the GNU General Public License.

Pencil2D is a drawing application that you can use to create traditional animations from a very intuitive interface. For example I have a resolution of 1920x1080, an AMD Radeon HD 6770 graphics card, A Flatron E2240 LG Screen, and my current screen DPI is 96.
